This September, Sandstorm Kenya turns 23 - a milestone we are both proud of and grateful for. Over the years, we’ve built more than just bags; we’ve built a family, a legacy, and a community that continues to inspire everything we do.
For us, birthdays are more than just a number. They’re a chance to pause, reflect, and most importantly, celebrate the people who’ve walked this journey with us. This year, we are honoring some of our longest-standing team members, the very heartbeat of our factory. Their hands, passion, and dedication have shaped not only the bags we create but also the story we tell as Sandstorm Kenya.
One of our favorite traditions is naming bags after the incredible people behind them. It’s our way of keeping their stories stitched into the fabric of our brand. Over the years, the Dorothy Tote, Sylvester Laptop Bag, Cecilia Backpack, and Pauline Bag have become some of our best-sellers - carried by customers across the world, yet always rooted in our Karen factory where they were inspired.
As we celebrate 23 years, we celebrate Craftmanship, loyalty, and legacy. We celebrate the individuals who remind us that every cut, every stitch, and every finish has a story - a human one. And of course, we celebrate you, our community, who continue to carry these stories with you wherever you go.
Here’s to 23 years of honoring our people and to many more years of carrying Kenya to the world.
