Our ongoing collaboration with Endo² is a living testament to this philosophy: a dialogue between heritage and modernity, between fashion and fine art, between Nairobi and Tokyo.
The visionaries behind Endo², sisters Yvonne and Patti Endo, bring together a truly unique creative language. Patti, an artist celebrated for her fluid, continuous linework, translates emotion into form with a single stroke. Yvonne, the brand’s co-creator, shapes these artworks into timeless designs that bridge culture and craft. Together, they’ve created not just prints, but stories you can hold.
This is a journey told in three acts.
Act I: The Bold Beginning (2019–2023)
The debut collection - “Repeat Face, Single Face, Double Face” - was nothing short of daring. Raw, striking, and unafraid of complexity, it introduced the world to the Endo² vision: art that confronts, questions, and celebrates identity. It wasn’t just a collaboration - it was a manifesto.
Act II: The Emotional Expansion (2023–2025)
With “Issho, Ario & Continuum,” the collaboration deepened. Here, movement met memory, and connection became form. Each print was a meditation on togetherness, cycles, and time itself. For Sandstorm, it was more than a design evolution, it was proof that our partnership with the Endo Sisters was maturing into something profound and enduring.
Act III: The Refined Evolution (2025 current)
Now comes the third act: minimalist, elegant, timeless. This new collection pares everything back, allowing Patti’s flowing linework to take center stage. What remains is purity - the quiet power of simplicity, the strength of restraint. It’s not just design; it’s poetry on canvas, carried in your hands.
For the first time, the Lara bag joins the Agnes pouch and Dorothy tote, expanding the silhouettes through which these stories are told. Each piece is printed in small batches by Dragonfly Designs in Karen, using eco-conscious, water-based inks.
The Tradition That Grounds Us
Every Endo² collaboration begins with Patti Endo at the canvas. At our Opportunity Factory in Karen, she paints a one-of-a-kind artwork that sets the tone for the new collection. Each piece is deeply personal, carrying the fluidity of her line work and the quiet strength of her vision - an intimate ritual that marks the birth of every chapter in our creative journey.
These canvases remain on display at the factory, forming a permanent gallery of creativity, sisterhood, and craft. They are more than art - they are archives, living storytellers that connect past collections to the present. For every visitor who steps inside, they reveal the spirit behind the bags and the collaboration that continues to shape them.
