We make products which last - better for you, better for us, better for our planet - but with regular use even the best bags suffer from wear and tear, which is why we offer a free repair service to extend their useful life whenever possible.
Our repairs team can’t work miracles but they’ve tackled all sorts of jobs over the years - including the impact of a hungry hyena - so if it’s possible to repair, they’ll find a way.
In Nairobi? Simply drop your bag in to any one of our stores, or to our workshop at the Opportunity Factory.
If you’re outside Kenya you’ll need to cover the cost of shipping and any duties both ways, however if you ship your bag to us from outside East Africa and we can’t repair it, we’ll replace it with an equivalent product. Before shipping any bag to us for repair please get in touch.
Sandstorm guarantee: Sandstorm offers a lifetime guarantee on its products covering the following:
* Failure of workmanship & craftmanship
* Failure of materials
* Production defects
Our guarantee does not cover general wear and damage caused by accident or by using the item for other than its intended purpose. This includes animal damage, damage caused by mishandling, extreme wear and third-party alterations made to the item.
Likewise, abuse of product, and disregard for the product care instructions are not covered. Please note every item is subject to an evaluation by our production team.
Free repairs/restoration for life: For almost 20 years Sandstorm bags have been made to
last, but after a while even the best-loved bags need a little TLC, which is why we offer free repair and restoration service. Please note that while we’ll always do our best to return your bag to its ‘as new’ condition, there’s usually a limit to what we can do.
However, we will always share the repair plan with you before carrying out the work.
